How to Weigh a Pig Without a Scale

Don't try to do this with a pig you aren't on friendly terms with. Try to visit and pet your pigs when they're weiners often so that you can handle them easily.

Measure the girth at the heart, around the chest.

Measure the body length from between the ears to where the tail sprouts.

Figure it like this: Heart Girth x Heart Girth x Length divided by 400 = the weight of the pig.

This is a pretty good estimate of a pig's weight.
